Plant Manager - Manages and directs plant operations, including the key manufacturing processes in order to achieve production objectives consistent with overall quality, cost and on time performance requirement. Professional leadership of the plant’s strategic planning and execution processes and commitment to building organizational capability; models character and values internally and externally; responsive to customer expectations and requirements while achieving business objectives; engaged with plant employees in recruiting, training and developing a highly-skilled, disciplined and cohesive workforce. The following are part of our selection criteria.
- BS in technical field
- 5+ years of experience leading people in a manufacturing environment
- Extensive understanding of manufacturing planning and processes
- Six Sigma and Lean Production experience and credentials are a strong plus
- Financial literacy – fluent in the language and metrics of business
- Excellent computer skills (ERP and MS Office Professional minimum)
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
Tool & Die Maker - Candidates must have over 5 years of related industrial experience, and preference will be given to candidates having “Lean” experience. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate prior success with providing value-added benefits to customers by lowering material costs and improving productivity via improved tooling designs. Must be a good listener, and work well with customers, Tooling Engineers, and Press Operators. This role is responsible for sharpening and maintaining cutting die sections for production, blanking, and cutting dies. Person must be familiar with assembly and disassembly of Progressive, Trimming, and Forming Dies. Ability to machine parts having tight tolerances is critical.
Maintenance Technician - Candidates must have over 5 years of related industrial experience, and preference will be given to candidates having “Lean” experience. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate a proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Must be a good listener, and work well with Production Operators. Being an excellent problem-solver is a requirement. This role is responsible for plant automation, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
Quality Control Tech - Understands measurement systems, Statistical Process Control, 8D / Corrective Action, and Quality Management Systems, etc. well enough to teach others. CMM experience (operation & programming) required. Candidate must have over 3 years of related experience within a production facility. Preference will be given to candidates having “Lean” experience. Must be a good listener, and work well with Production Operators.
Automated Assembly - Candidates must have over 3 years of related experience within a production facility, and preference will be given to candidates having “Lean” experience. Candidates must also hate waste, be passionate about serving customers, and work well with Maintenance Technicians.
Press Operator - Candidates must have over 3 years of related experience within a production facility, and preference will be given to candidates having “Lean” experience. Candidates must also hate waste, and be passionate about serving customers. Must be a good listener, and work well with Tooling Engineers, Tool & Die Makers, and Maintenance Technicians.
